who we are what we do

since 2008 the art box has been providing fun and enjoyable art classes and workshops taught by Anne

classes now on-line

GOOD NEWS! We have moved our watercolour classes on to Zoom so you don’t need to miss a thing!

We run the classes which are suitable for for beginners or those with a little more experience as closely as possible to our normal watercolour classes. You will need to provide your own painting materials. Anne produces a hand-out for each class giving details of materials needed together with the images and sketches she is working from. She uses a limited palette of colours so you don’t need a zillion tubes of paint!

The fee for each class is £10 paid in advance. This covers the hand-out, Zoom class and access for two weeks to an unlisted recording of the session on YouTube. Whether you’ve attended one of Anne’s classes before or not had the opportunity you’re welcome to join in just click here to leave Anne a message.

watercolour classes

Our classes which are taught by Anne are designed with both the beginner and improver in mind. So if you’ve not painted before or at least not for some time (maybe it was back at school or college) you should be fine to come along and join in the fun!

painting workshops

Our workshops are for those with a little more experience in painting. Although if you’ve been to one of Anne’s classes and want to give something new a try you are welcome.
